sealed BTL's?

Uh? This thread has me scratching my head. Not one person thought to ask this guy why he thinks he needs to tune to 20hz in car audio?
IIRC someone has posted pics of a x-cab Dodge built at a local shop he frequents that had like six BTL 18's in a wall, sealed. Score was pathetic considering the equipment. It was a flame-fest. Im surprised nobody has mentioned it yet.
Reed Dollaz an it was thats nasty *** lime green dodge ram.

What kind of vehicle? You don't have to have a sealed setup to get subsonic frequencies //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

He enjoys listening to 10hz sine waves. Duh?
i can only name like 3 songs with bass below 20hz

lil wyte hoods run down is the only rap song, then the 2 bass songs, the one with the organ and the one people use to make alot of vids, wtf is the name of that one:verymad:

you can tune as low as you want, a guy i work with HT subs are tuned to 9 or 10hz, 7hz is ****ing cool to see and feel, really cant feel it too much either

I listen to alot of slowed down rap that drops down to the low 20s. Sounds and feels rediculous on my system. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

wtf are you playing to get into subsonic frequencies?
99% of music you play is subsonic my ***

please answer this for me and you might get some help
Im not gonna sit here and make a list. Most music i listen to is slowwed. Phil collins baby!

well i cant hate on slowed phil collins, if you tune low, say 25hz you gonna lose alot of output from that 35hz tuning, especially in the 35-50hz range

BTLs have a pretty strong suspension, mine never had a problem with low music, what kind of vehicle is it in?

I think it would be better to tune in the low 20's and get a BIG *** box for them. Sealed just isnt cutting it for me. You wont get much output on the low end with any sub sealed unless you have tons of power (or box volume), and lots of surface area.

Just do a 4th order bandpass with a bigger sealed chamber than ported chamber. Go with 8 cubes sealed, 6 cubes ported, around 120 square inches of port tuned to 45hz.

That bish would be nasty down low.
