Buzzing sound???

What could be causing this buzzing noise. Its only noticable at low volume.

I didnt think anything of it. Its only had maybe 6 hours on it since recone.

Its almost like a whistle. Its weird sounding. I sold the sub not thinking of it and now the new owner is mad at me. So im trying to figure this out to see what i can do to help him.

Also, one coil read 2.6 ohms, the other fluctuated and then settled on 2.6 after 30 secs claimed the seller.

1001 posts BTW!!! And i think its the dustcap that doesnt have enought glue on it. Where can i get the glue to do it and how much?

Well im wondering if it leakes air causing a weird sound.

Some type of air leak was my guess. I have to battle that alot. Screw holes, subs coming loose, not sealed up well, etc...

the dust cap will make a loud noise. i would use a foam gasket behind the sub. you can get the foam in lowes and it is sticky on 1 side. cost about $3...
