First day install picks. This is one of my first builds, so suggestions are welcome //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

-Support beams for the floor board

The blue runs of Scoshe 0 gauge are from last install. Tripling the existing runs of 0 gauge with knu wire ( red and black). Including engine-chassis, BatteryNEG-chassis, and Alt-BatteryPOS along with a triple run to the rear hatch. Better to over do it than under do it right?

More pics tomorrow after i carpet the floor board and install a few more runs of 0 gauge to rear cabin.

*** Not sure what kind of bit to use to drill thru my firewall. Need to fit 3 runs of 0 gauge. I could barely fit 1 - 0gauge through my main grommet so adding 2 more runs is out of the question. I guess the hole only has to fit 2 runs, since I'm too lazy to rerun the existing cable.

*** Under the engine bay is a plastic shield that runs from the bumper all the way to the firewall except for a few spots. I have like 8 bolts and a wrench down there somewhere. Just thought I would share that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Since I will be removing the shied to change the Alternator, I will just wait to retrieve my lost items.

Looks clean. I'm thinking the XD is in for a little flex ha. As for adding the 2 extra runs, don't leave them just in a hole //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif please grommet it. (I'm sure you know, just double checking.)

Keep up the good work and I hope you are reunited with your wrench soon.

When I saw that box, I came. Hope that port has enough room to fire though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
That was my first thought. But since it's already built, the best way to find out is 1st hand //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I plan on making a video tomorrow of the sound the box produces. Sounds good. Subs only have about 5 1/2 - 6 inches of room to fire. Not much room I know, but I can live with it.

I'll get a better angle for a picture to show space between hatch and port.

I actually just ran the wires under the car this time along with the other brick of wires under the car. Didn't drill a hole, just removed the cap to the spare tire hole in the hatch area ( where the spare screws in) and ran my wires there. was enough for 3 0 gauge wires. Used a racket ball as a grommet. Worked perfectly. Alot of people say I shouldnt run wires under the car, but I really cant see a reason why not. All the wires are secure.
