nice build. I own an 08 xB myself and my 12" type R rattles the shit out of my car lol. Hope you have plenty of sound deadener. After seeing your detail on everything else I'm sure you do. So are you basically listening to only your front two speakers or are you using the back two as well?

i put 2 6.5 type R component sets. 1 in front and 1 in back. so 4 tweets and 4 6.5's. I listen to them all. The type R's get loud, but they cant keep up with the substage.

So after a few weeks with the system installed and multiple layers of deadener, I've decided to sell the the amp box and woofers. The bass is just too much for the tiny car. My rear windshield wiper snapped off....

Will be posting the amp, 2 subs and box plus 50+ ft of 0 gauge KnuKoncept and 2 - 0 gauge KnuKoncept inline fuses for $1k local. Still have system installed to demo. Going with a couple 10 inch DD's instead.

Are tose Type R components any good?? i can get some for like 15 from my friends hes selling his car and wants em gone..

The tweets are loud and clear. the door woofers are good, but are easily drowned out by my subs. I think that's pretty much any door woofers anywhere near the price range or the type R's. I don't regret picking them up.

not tryn to bash ur box or anything, (cuz i think it's a fineass piece of work), but if u rebuild the box u shudnt do dual chamber... Idk if it's a myth or not but I've always heard that a shared chamber can add up to like 1-3 dB!!!
