Scion xB Install

Is there more pictures?
That's all for now. It's a work in progress.

Andar, I might change it up later and add a pocket. I don't want to use a plastic kit, but I might fabricate another trim piece with a pocket option. I don't really need any more storage cubbies, because, as you know, there are plenty of those already in an xB. I had thought about just molding the trim piece into the dash, but I've heard that replacements are pretty expensive, so I'll probably just stick with some variation of this for the time being.

Here are the final pics of the install. Finished it last week. I have a little more sound deadening mat left, but I will install that whenever I have time.

Had to modify some bracketry for the passenger's seat weight sensors for the airbag system. None of the sensor brackets or wiring were changed, just relay packs.

Had to change out the fuse holder, so here is a shot of the bracket I made up.

Another shot. It mounts out of the way and uses the same bolts as the cruise control module.

These last few shots are of what you'll actually see of this install. It's pretty much all hidden except for the radio, just how I wanted it.

Subwoofer Enclosure Installed

Amp with seat all the way forward. All adjustments can be made through the top access cover on the amp.

Sub Box with the seat all the way forward. The cut out sections fit right under the seat rails, so it doesn't move at all.

Pretty creative! How does it sound?
It needs some adjusting. There's actually more sub bass than I want. It's very overpowering in such a small car. Of course, I have stock speakers, which leave something to be desired. But all the issues can definitely be resolved.
