duh... that big bang thing.... There was nothing then BANG there was everything.
Neither Science nor Religion can prove everything they stand for. When it comes down to it, all you have is your faith or your microscope I guess,,,,
Exactly, and this makes me laugh, cuz if you have enough faith to believe in the big bang theory, its even easier to believe that He created everything. But everyone has there opinion and will figure out the truth soon enough I guess. I would rather have my faith in God and the bible and think there is life after death rather than the alternative? But hey thats me, I am not here to argue.

Also I wounder what the people that dont trust in christ or believe he created everything, what do they believe in to how we got here and how the world was created?
We don't know everything. That doesn't mean we can make up for the gaps in our knowledge with god.

As for your question of what I personally believe, I believe that quantum fluctuations in our universe produced something from nothing about 13.7 billion years ago. The earth formed from the condensing of dust and matter about 4.5 billion years ago Once that happens, the initial life produced by some method of abiogenesis is a matter of chance (as far as we know), but in a universe as diverse and incredible as this one, even extraordinarily improbable events are almost guaranteed to happen at some point, and it seems to have occurred about 3.5 billion years ago. Through evolution, we have the diversity of species you see on the planet now (including us humans!).

That's a rough sketch of what I believe is best supported by the evidence. That doesn't exclude the existence of god in a deistic sense, but it does contradict many specific claims the bible seems to make about the natural world.

What? That's crazy talk since there is no magical, floating, invisible guy in the sky included.

You can still believen in evolution and still believen in christ. It is proven fact that evolution is real, also christ was real. So you can go both ways. And if the universe was created by dust, what created dust? This conversation keeps going and going. It all falls in to two options. Faith or no Faith, Believen in or not to believe. Either way you still believen in something.

Well, I believe I explained the dust part with the quantum fluctuations.

I disagree that it has been proven that Christ is real, at the very least not as described in the bible.

It's common sense what he said, you can believen in him have faith in him and the "lord" will have remorse for you. If you clearly never heard of him there will be another time he will give that person the chance to come clean to him. As long as you have faith in the "lord" everything will be clear. For instance, plenty of people say "oh, this is stupid im not going to believen in that _ _ _ _". Well they just earn there chance. It clearly states you have your choice to choose wether you want to believen or not believen. For me I believen, I have faith in the lord. Sometimes the bible isn't all to clear what it speaks of, such as in matthews, it states "Love me more then your mother and father, and more then your children". I love Jesus but I believe it's commen sense. I clearly love my Mother more then Jesus, because she gave me life such as the lord gave me. But its human to love something more that you see daily. It's all in faith.

You believe in something written by a group of men that use cut-down trees to write some 3,000 year old book just because its glowing with 'holy goodness'? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

I really believe that, there is also a lot of people that read and study the bible just to try and reword it to make it sound better to what they believe, you can interperate things different ways.

Well the bible speaks of Jesus, but the "whole" bible doesnt just specify on him. It was proven that he was a human. But still I will believen anyone who devoted his whole life to the religion. Not only that because that is the only "religion" that acually makes sense to me.

Link to said proof?

Nothing makes sense without some kind of creator. Even the quantum particles that created the big bang, why were they present, and what created them? You think they were just there?

I don't believe in the bible. I believe in Jesus Christ. The bible is clearly just a guide and more information towards the religion. Just as a Dictionary. You dont believen in the dictionary, you clearly acknowledge the fact that it is a book of information. Still you have to respect any sort of book men took plenty of time to write.
