You're like a giddy little school girl Jacob... it is amusing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Yep, pretty much *laughs*

Still a speaker dork //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Also... DHL did break one so I took that time to cut it down to show a few design / build details of this driver :

* Nobody likes to see this ! Felt like someone shot my dog when I saw that.

CIMG5486.JPG

* Cone out... nice view of the double leads.

CIMG5489.JPG

* Bottom triple joint ring that we all know and love from the original SA-8

CIMG5490.JPG

* Second triple joint ring between the spiders too -- I like rugged !

CIMG5491.JPG

* Pole cap much like the SD-2 models

CIMG5492.JPG

* Steel ring is bolted in behind each leg of the frame (8 bolts to hold the spacer assembly and spiders in place)

CIMG5494.JPG

* Internal logos and the inside view of the venting ring. Focuses the air on the coil better as well as building the proper velocity.

* RIP SA-8 v.2 Frame...

i know ur feeling Jake had a customer recieve a sub today and ups totally at fault broke the basket. looks like they had sexytime with the box as they passed it around. 1st one this yr they broke on my figures i was due //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Don't worry Tommy -- we'll get you one to test as soon as possible.

With your lower frequency I think it'll work well as these break-in softer than the v.1 and can move alot more.

Yup I replaced door speakers and just replaced rear speakers yesterday. What it was I had to adjust the crossovers

Actually, I was wrong, it was to go into his 1972 Currier! The 4runner just wasn't workable and he ended up getting a high performance motor...
