Have no interest in going to look for a newer car/vehicle. Or listen to one for that matter. But have heard of stock systems improving dramatically just as you said. Even some popular brands that teamed up with auto mfgrs such as RF and JBL.actually if you listen to some of the newer cars, the stock speakers are way above any sub 150 dollar component set you can think of. hence why car audio is dying off. Most people dont feel the need to upgrade because the overall stock speaker standards are much higher. Some lexus and tesla etc...stock setups are actually quite b*tchin in terms of SQ with decent loudness. I literally tell most of my friends that unless they plan on dropping 800-1k into a full system, they wont do better than their stock setup. thats with my knowledge of active networks and tuning and install etc applied and thats how much stock setups have improved over the years.
I have experienced the Nine -1, Nine -2 and the Nine-5, all seemed to be very nice and clean sounding amps. The Nine-2 isnt functioning properly/needs be rebuilt..the Nine one needs a solder joint and be operational.. the Nine -5 is sold and shipped out:santa:Are you familiar with ED amps at all? I got one coming soon...
sony, infinity, harmon, mark levinson, bose, krell, fender, bang & olufsen(full DSP setup fking ridiculous), burmester, revel, naim, meridian and some inhouse designed by some well known engineers. they are unknown to you but in the home audio world a lot of those are elite, the weird named ones you never heard of.Have no interest in going to look for a newer car/vehicle. Or listen to one for that matter. But have heard of stock systems improving dramatically just as you said. Even some popular brands that teamed up with auto mfgrs such as RF and JBL.
