Running Game System In Car HELP

I have a 1996 Dodge Caravan and when I try to run a tv and a gamecube from my power inverter, my fuse always blows. My power inverter is 300 watts peak. Any ideas on what is not working right?

dont think its ****** all that power...maybe the fuse rating is low

well assuming the fuse rating on the inverter is 20-25amps, I'd say it's about right that it blows. if something takes 300watts at 120v, that means you would need a 2.5amp fuse. If something takes 300w at 12v, you would need a 25 amp fuse. I think you need a bigger power inverter.

ya, i think i was told to get a 300 watt PI, just for a PS2 not alone a tv too

A TV will pull a sh!t load more whats than that. Go get a 1000 watt power inverter. Wire it directly to your battery.
