upgrading battery to chassis ground

[93 saturn sl2 10+ year member]

I have a piece of 4 gauge wire that is the perfect size to add on to my ground for my battery. What is involved in doing this? do I just connect it to the battery and then to where the factory ground it? and the bolt and nut for the factory ground is rusty, what do I do with that?

Replace the bolt and nut on the factory ground...use a ring terminal on both ends and fasten it down. Nothing really to it.

Dont forget to clean off any rust on the chasis with sandpaper as well.

Anywhere that You can make a connection to the frame is fine.

You dont have to replace Your stock wiring, simply add to it.
