Router Bit

I don't know what the name of it is, but I just used one that made a straight cut, but it also removed 1/2 wide chunk with every cut I made. It made a lot of freaking sawdust! See my cardomain site for some pics, IDK if I have any that will help.

n can u take more pics of the jig u made PLEASE

like how u attached the router to it n stuff?

THANKS!!!!!

If I remember, I'll take some more pics for you when I get home from school/work.

My dad actually made this jig about 8 years ago to build a science project for my brother. There are 3 screws at the bottom of my router that are used to hold the jig in place.

If you have any questions, you can try to get ahold of me on IM, my SN is JeffZimmerman484. Or you can email me at JRZ126@ieee.org. I'll try to post some pics

The Jasper jigs require a 1/4" straight cut bit for the size to come out right. You definitely want a carbide bit, and you really want a smaller rather than larger bit to reduce the stress put on the router and the amount of sawdust you make. MDF makes a really fine dust that gets everywhere and is a ***** to clean up.
