Whats the biggest recomended ported box size for two 12" solo baric L5s?

they dont like sound worse when the box is bigger? Cuz some subs are that way. I just wanna make sure cuz I wanna make the perfect box.

And should I build it with the subs firing up and the vent(s) firing back or subs and vent(s) firing bak towards the back?
