Anyone know the rough dimensions under the seat of an 99-06 Silverado Ext or Quad Cab? Did a search but couldnt find anything.

53 or 54ish wide, 9 High in front, 8 in back, about 12 deep.

Which do you need cause the seat brackets are completely different between the 2.

Awesome thanks a ton. I was thinking about something just like that. I cant wait to sell my van and get a truck to get started on.

I was thinking of 2 sets of those new ID comps, either 1 12 ported or 2 10s sealed, probably IDQ, and a Kicker ZX700.5.

He posted dimensions for the ext cab, you got dimensions for the quad cab? I would love a quad cab 2500HD, but Im not sure if I can find one for a decent price.

Also, how tall and wide is the hump in the middle of the box?

I'll have to get them, but there is less room under the crew cab seat. I just moved my seat forward to get more space behind the seat instead. Is you did this, you'd need some shallow mounts, or nothing over 6" mounting depth. Here's my build thread.

Hmmm... I think I might just go ext cab instead then, they are easier to find as well.

My grandfather has a 05 ext cab Silverado and its a pretty bada*s truck, w/ the 5.3l V8 and fully loaded. He got it w/ 18k on it for $12k from a friend of his.

****, its some tiny space under the seat. I think 1 12 ported would be the best bet.

I wish I could find a big 5 channel. Id like 75 x 4 @ 4 ohms on the front channels and 750ish would be nice on the sub channel, but I dont know of many current amps like that. Would probably end up with a Kicker ZX700.5.
