Ok guys, this one's been bugging me for a while.

If I've got 2 1200 watt 4ohm DVC subs wired in paralell down to 1 ohm and I hook up a 1200 watt mono amp that is stable down to 1 ohm, does the power get split between the subs (giving 600 per) or do both subs see the full 1200 watts?

Well, obviously since you stated the amplifier is 1200 watts...each sub WILL NOT see 1200 watts. You answered your own question, where will the amp magically come up with the extra 1200 watts from? So there u have it, each sub will see 600 watts. peace
