iv seen a 15" r take 2k daily for a few months.

i give my 12" r about 1100 daily, gets a little smelly and warm but has yet to fail me.

They are great subs for the price. Several of us have broken 150's with single R's. For some reason everybody expects them to handle 100000000000000 watts all day long, but they can't.

i gave my 10" type r's 750 daily and they took it fine.

After impedance rise you don't know what kind of power that you are really seeing. Different amps can also produce totally different power levels than ones that are rated for the same thing. This is why I continuously recommend for people to turn down the volume when the subs are showing signs of stressing.

mine 12's used to have a bxi2607d @ .5 ohms each. if its a 100% daily system do 2 cubes and maybe 1000rms a sub.
