rms for amp

my amp is 800 watt logic plx28. it does about 200w rms and my 12" sony xplods are rated at 300 rms. so obviously i could be pushing more through my subs. would my subs blow or not if i got an amp that does more than 300 rms

as long as you don't jack the gain up to full, they should be fine
