RLp max watts?

ive got 2 RLp 15's running off of a nine.1 at 2ohms. but its too much weight in the trunk, so i was thinking about taking one out and just running the other one off of the nine.1 at 1ohms. but the SSA website says 600-700 watts will reach "full excursion" so would 1200watts be too much for one 15" RLp?

Follow the gain setting tutorial in this sub forum, but set the gains so that the maximum potential produced by the amp corresponds to about 800 watts into the ohm load presented by your woofers.
