any other suggestions other than fiberglass?

i take my kid back and forth from school everyday, so i'd prefer not to do that...

remember, i had to put it together half in car, so its no coming out

use epoxy resin

doesn't smell half as bad, does the same job, but it's a bit more expensive

(someone should check me on that)

The more MDF, the merrier...

get some thin strips of wood (1\4 thick?), soak it in resin, soak the MDF in resin, and put them across the back of the baffle

maybe do some verticle bracing (floor to baffle) and cut the top at the 63 degree angle or whatever and wedge it between one of the strips and glue it on with some fiberglass, and drill it in place thru the front baffle (if you can line it up).

it wasn't that it wasn't braced good enough...

it wasn't braced at all!

i put on the center section of the flush baffle and the sound didn't change, so i took it back off cause if it didn't help i didn't want it.( it looked out of place) so i took the sub out to start some internal bracing....

my brace had snapped. the sound was the two pieces vibrating together. and when i pushed on the baffle it pushed the two pieces together. it sounds fu(king awsome now!!!

well the brace did break. so this time i screwed & glued 2 pieces of mdf together for the brace. i wanna see this one break here is a pic of the broken one
