Right direction

I'm not new at car stereo at all, I've installed mine all my life. But now i'm ready to get into the real thing.

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the directions in explaining what I need to konw. I understand the RMS, but how do you know what sub's and amp match up nicely? What db ranges are good, any information to get someone understanding a little more.

I am currently upgrading my sub, which subs are currently in the top ten? I'm looking for sound quality, I don't mind the rumble, but I want a little more of the tight punch.

Well the first question is your price range.. and also are you more for the pouding bass or what? be alittle more specfic

Well I know about the sales people, specialy in this small city. Stuff is marked up about 300% from anywhere else. The problem is also that there is only 2 stores here with about 3 subs each, and they all **** if you ask me.

I'm looking for somthing that will pound for sure, I just never heard a very nice system, so I don't know if the good ones rattle and sound like your pushing a cat through a port. I like a tight punch with good bass. As for my price range, well i'm looking at under $1500 CND.

What guage is usualy used for the amps and how do you figure out the AMPs of the fuse you should use?

Well that sub is 15"! Should I go with something like 2 10" or 2 12" if I want a tigher sound? This is what I was told.... not sure if its true tho....

I was also looking at the elemental designs, any comments on those?

What are Ti's? and K's. I know its probably models of subs, but I cant figure out which subs they are!
