need to upgrade

What 1 or 2 subs would hit the low lows better than my 2 cvr 12s. This is going in an explorer and being powered by a brutus 1500. My budget is no more than $250. all help is appreciated.

possibly a RE 12" or 15" SX? if they can handle the full 1500w
