right amp for my subs

i have 2 12" he2's and i was wondering if i should keep my fosgate 401s amp (200 x 2)(400 x 1) or buy a fosgate 801s (400 x 2) or just buy another 401s and run one to each sub (400 to each one), and if i run 2 amps, will i have to get another battery?

2 amps is a much better idea, make sure your first one is in good condition and they are the exact same model amp otherwise it may sound weird.

no u shouoldn't need another battery....... when its time to get a new battery just invest in a yellow top
