Hello everyone would you like to review my system and tell me your insights .i would like some more volts

Headunit:

pioneer deh2000mp

Electrical

-0/2 gauge from main battery to a 250 amp fuse under the hood

-0/2 ga from 250 amp fuse to hc600 in the trunk

-4 gauge grounding the hc600 and 4 gauge power from hc600 to fuse block splitter

-4 gauge power from 120amp fuse to mono amp & 8 gauge from 80 amp fuse to 4 channel amp

sub amp:

Autotek meanmachine 4000 4000 watt maxx 1800 watts rms with 14 volts

Highs amp autotek street machine 1200.4

mids/highs

stock 5 1/4's in front doors

kicker ds 40's mounted in b pillars

enclosure is 5 cubes gross and 4.5 before sub displacements tuned to 35hz with 50 inches of port

housing 4 12 facing up port forward on drivers side

max enclosure size for each 12 is 1.75 ported

300 rms subs

i can easily dip to 12.0 with the car idle now i have it tuned to where i dont dip below 12.5 car on

with gains turned down .

with ganis up in all in the 11.0 volt range car on

deck setting flat volume 57 max bass gets the loudest at volume 60 of 62 i dont like going over 55

and the most do is bass +1 and sla+1

seems like im cranking my deck way to high. i test my voltage at the pre out from deck .With 2.2 volt pre outs i get 1.9 at volume 59 settings flat loud off sla 0

i had a mx3 and it seemed to help alot but it stopped working so its out until i can get it replaced

Stop playing with your gains as if they're volume control. Set your gain at the correct spot and leave it. That's your biggest problem. You also need to do the big three, get a nice AGM battery up front(DieHard Platinum or similar), and then another for your trunk.

Oh, and you really need to work on writing out complete thoughts(as sentences, preferably).

My bad for the punctuation, my hc600 is grounded to the rear shock tower, the amps amps the amp are grounded to my trunk. Which appear to have a direct relationship with the frame .

I had to play with my gains, set by dmm to 1200 watts i thought i would be safe but i was in the 11s while idling so i just backed off untll voltage drop was was no t so harsh

With my deck settings flat sla 0and loud off the bass and highs dont get lout untill vol55 , 60 max its loudest of 62 but i dont think my amps like it all the way up there hey tend to get a little on the warm side.

With the sla on it allows me to play at a lower volume but seems like it cost me some sq.

anyone else have this deck of similar? my brother has a pioneer with 4 volt pre outs (also has plf and hpf all those goodies)i believe .anyhow i have him setup and he rarely likes to go to 50 and everything gets loud and clear . i set his gains by dmm .

I personally think its the decks he has a sub setting and the whole nine sub setting may be at 3of 6 maxx ,when ever im in the car i crank it up to 55 and it just jamz highs andd all

You aren't losing any sq by using the sla. I had mine set to +3 before I set my gain(Pioneer DEH-P4000UB). Just make sure that you aren't clipping, aren't losing considerable voltage, and you'll be fine. You need to do the big three and upgrade your primary battery. I'd get rid of the HC600 and put a different battery back there.

May I make a very good suggestion sell all and start from scratch best opinion.
you have any suggestions on what would be an improvment?

i was told to scrap my deck cause it lacks subwoofer controls

When I say everything I mean everything even the wire and then let's get a budget setup and see where to go. We can name setups all day but with no realistic budget out there it's not even worth bringing up the possibilities and I figure the money you get from the sale will add to what you have to spend now.

ok i have already started over multiple times and dont have alot of budget left ,.i was suggested 1500 watts and 1 15 when i fist joined here i figure the amp is good for 1500 watts and just did not go with 1 15 this round . i was actually going to go with obsidian 18s
