Review My Setup (Please)

The difference is about $120. Crutchfield is shipping it for free. And it may be cheaper to build myself, in which case when I have the time I will. Right now, I have way too many other things to worry about than building a box so my subs can sound better. Something like that is a couple months down the road.

Sorry to have hurt all of your feelings by not getting EXACTLY what YOU said to get.

Feelings arent hurt. Hope things work out for ya.

I realize it is on the small side. That is a downside I am willing to accept. Regardless of the negative attitudes everyone may have had as a result of my purchasing decisions, I appreciate the help. Assuming I haven't offended anyone too much, I would be happy to come back in the future for any help/advice. New box is on the list.

No one is offended.

The enclosure being small and the port being tuned to "33hz" will greatly hinder the output performance of the enclosure. It would be better if you inverted the subs, would gain more output that way with a bigger enclosure. Adding 1lb-1.5lbs of poly fill per cbft will also add "more airspace" to the enclosure. Just make sure not to put it near the port.

Funny you guys should mention that I didnt listen to anything you said when I changed my entire setup except for the box and wiring. Got the AB subs and amp and a different deck. Its just that getting a box custom made didnt fit in to my budget at the moment and I couldnt find anyone to do it for a price I was willing to pay. To get it from Starr mountain would have cost upwards of $200 because of shipping.
If it makes a difference I got this box:

Sound Ordnance™ Bass Bunker Ported dual 12" subwoofer enclosure (Model BB122-175V) at Crutchfield.com

3.2 cu ft and tuned to 33 Hz

From what I understand 34hz is solid for these subs and 4cu ft is whats desired.
wow..you screwed yourself there with a 5/8" MDF P.O.S Nobody uses 5/8" Mdf except the mass produced, overpriced Chinese Crutchfield junk, It doesn't matter what you paid, you got screwed anyways.. ...Why come here and ask advice if you think you already know what is best. I linked you in Post #31 to some pre-fabs in case you chose that route - 3/4" thick with a 1.5" thick double baffle and large port area...along with some good, solid equipment.

You said you needed 4 cubes at 32hz, right?...here ya go:

Quack you crack me up man...

This might be a stupid question, are you suggesting that I face the front of the subs inward into the box?
Yes
