Resonant Engineering!!!

You know what's kinda funny. For years people complained that RE needs to hire a secretary or someone to answer the phone. So they do. And now everyone complains that said secretary (or whatever) doesn't know anything...LOL
Which would you rather have; someone who answers the phone but doesn't know every last detail, or only every 1 out of 3 calls being answered, but answered directly by a tech guy?

I'm glad they are hiring more people because I too saw where people stated they called, or emailed with no response....but if now they at least can have a warm body to talk too, that's better....but finding someone that can come in automatically and tech all phone calls is very hard and cumbersome.

If the guy didn't know, they should have an older tech sheet there, or on a file he can at least get the specs for. But this too takes time....give Dave and Scott some time, they'll have it all together. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

 
Why did it take so long to get answers? I understand the phone answerer is new but if he didn't know shit about the sub, according to dave, then why didnt he get someone who did know? If a customer comes to me and asks me about the benefits of a Cannondale over the Jeep right next to it and I have no ****in clue, ill go and get someone who does, not leaving my potential buyer clueless.
And AndyB, you should pull out whoevers **** is shoved up your *******. He said, and I quote, "I highly doubt," and then gave reasons to back up his skepticism, he never straight out said you're wrong, now did he? So you continue to make yourself look like an jackass while we all sit back and relax, OK?
Thanks for clearing all that up.... and as for everybody who is getting into a war here i was just wanting to let everyone on here know of my experience hoping that someone would help me with my question.

I do not regret buying the sub because its a great little puppy but that doesnt make their customer service any better.... i also e-mailed them right after i talked to that asian guy two weeks ago and guess what? i have yet to receive any kind of answers!

Please dont make excuses about how their hiring people, or how their backed up!!! if it is so, then that just means that their doing a poor job running the company. As someone pointed out that you can call alpine and find out about their products from 5 and even 10 years ago... thats how a company should be ran.... do you think Microsoft would be what it is if they didnt know jack about Windows ME eventhough they only shipped a small amount of computers with that operating system (Small for Microsoft is a lot for other compaies, just in case somebody took that out of content)?

Just curious.... if this TeamPSI guy really is the mighty Dave that everyone talks about (never met him or anything so im neutral about the guy) then why tha hell is he running around forums instead of answering the emails that everyone is still waiting for responses on? I know that if i was running a company i would make sure that my customers are happy instead of running around on forums and answering questions after seeying so much flaming against my company!

Anyways people, i do not dislike RE! I just feel that thier customer service sucks and apperantly im not the only one! Its just my opinion... I think Panasonics customer service is awsome but i have heard horror stories about them! Its no big deal!

 
Maybe because I'm off work. Maybe because I dont get paid to do any of the customer service/tech emails that I do at home.

Maybe I do "free" work at my own leisure.
And what you do... we greatful for... like I said in my post. You help out ALOT .... even when your off work. And with out you... alot of people wouldnt have there questions answered.

I can't be everywhere all the time, but I try to as much as I can, not to mention the emails I get directly at work. As I'm sure the same goes for David, or anyone else that works for a car audio manufacture. But what you do get, is manufacture peeps that care enough to come on here and help. Easier to find the questions and problems, before they come to you.(the company)I say props to David for being here as well as any other manufacture rep.

If he answered your question, he is trying to make that customer happy like you state...

Guess you could almost flip the coin and say why do you come on here to bash RE, when if you had the problem with them, you take it up with them??

And I don't see alot of flaming....well, not as much as you vison anyway.
