Resonant Engineering!!!

Highly doubt that as over the last two weeks in which i have been interested in them i have seen 3 sold on ebay! and just reading on here over 10 people have them so i guess they were all owned by 10 different people whom all happen to be regulars on this forum.... come on man lets stop trying to make escuses for these guys and just admit that their customer service is rediculously horrible and thats an understatement!!!!!
Once again no matter how many of them they made, if they sold them they should have information on them... and just so you all know, this guy may not know crap but he did say that they still make them for "special purposes" and ill believe him on that one just cause he actually works there!

Anyways all this bickering what about the box?
Was basing the "30 or so made" off of other posts seen on this forum. The point i was trying to make is they made very few of them. See no need to get upset over it, maybe you do. I have always had good experinces with theyre customer service. I never said it wasent wrong that they didnt have any specs for you, did i? Where are you getting excuses? I was offering my opinioin. They should have info on them, which i know they do, they just didnt give it to you, for what reason i dont know. Maybe you should talk to RE about this and propose an offer to setup a tech line. I doubt they would hear anything of it, but its worth a shot. Anyway, thats all i got.

The guy you talked to is new. I'm sure he was a bit confused as to what you were asking for... as he's never heard of an HC 10".

We never offered the HC in a 10" until the very LAST blowout run of them. Only then did we build a staggering 46 of them. No one at the facility today would have been able to give you the t/s parameters for an HC 10" as they are not loaded into our old spec sheets (we didnt make them).

Anyway... Dont run it sealed. Port it.

I was about to jump all over this thread.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

Come now, Look what we have here. Did Dave himself post this for you? No customer service???

Next time, I believe a use of the old common sense would be in order. While on the phone ask for someone who has knowledge of the HC. Ask who you can talk to about it. If they are out call when they are in. It is discontinued and you can't expect everyone to know everything about anything;)

So next time everyone wants to jump in on a thread like this and start the flame war, you might want to have your ducks in a row;)

Peace.

RE=Teh shiznet

RE's customer service **** *** man. i called them yesterday and they put me on hold for 49 seconds. what a bunch of loosers. i asked them for a price on subs and they gave me the price. what terrible service. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Its ok that EVERYONE is not satisfied with RE's customer service... this is the nature of business, not everyone is going to be pleased no matter how good of a job you do. There are people out there that are just going to say bad things about one company and good about another.

For example, everyone $hits all over BEN and ED about their shipping taking forever in addition to the problems with getting the amps from them... I have purchased deadener from them and have had no problems with the shipping, although the edead falls off.

Its not REs fault that people call and accept answers that dont satisfy their questions. If you are persistent then your answers will get answered. Im not saying that what happened is right or wrong, but the simple fact is you allowed yourself to hang up the phone and come here it b*tch about this when you didnt get your answers.

$hit I just got off the phone with optima about the yellow tops and they couldnt tell me $hit about why my battery melted, or what types of loads cause the side terminals to melt....

but I was persistent enough to get someone to contact engineer so my answers can be solved...

Dont doubt the product of a company because there are people that have bad experiences with them, that is a bandwagon. If you purchase something from them then you can comment on their product and I am sure that the comments will be good...

bTw that was a dam good reply by Dave...

I wouldn't have purchased a sub without making sure I can get the theil/small specs for it first.

This is what my WinISD file lists for HC10 specs:

Qts: 0.340

Vas: 0.632ft^3

Fs: 28.80Hz

Re: 2.200ohm

Le: 0.00mH (*shrug* that's what it says)

Xmax: 0.83in

Z: 2.000ohm

Qms: 6.190

Qes: 0.360

SPL: 82.78dB

Pe: 1200.0W

Dd: 9.29in

Sd: 48.05in^2

If nothing else you should be able to enter these perameters into WinISD and design your own box.

Only then did we build a staggering 46 of them.
Hmmm. Thought they didnt make around 30 or so segurousky?? Thought i was a dumbass for saying that. 46 seems awfully close to 30 doesnt it? So next time you feel the need to ***** me out about something, it would probably be a good idea to make sure your right. But heh, thats just my opinion. If you would like to continue on being a dumbass, fine by me.

Dude, you're clueless to. You're just a regurgitator...

Why did it take so long to get answers? I understand the phone answerer is new but if he didn't know shit about the sub, according to dave, then why didnt he get someone who did know? If a customer comes to me and asks me about the benefits of a Cannondale over the Jeep right next to it and I have no ****in clue, ill go and get someone who does, not leaving my potential buyer clueless.

And AndyB, you should pull out whoevers **** is shoved up your *******. He said, and I quote, "I highly doubt," and then gave reasons to back up his skepticism, he never straight out said you're wrong, now did he? So you continue to make yourself look like an jackass while we all sit back and relax, OK?
