remove motor from type r ?

unscrewed the bolts, and gave it a couple whacks, and nothing.

should i apply heat? beat the hell outta it till it comes off?

also, the coil worth anything, or trash it?

Try twisting it off. If you have a vice, wrap the motor in rags and clamp it lightly in the vice to twist it off. It might be glued on or have threads.

I may be wrong, but I dont think Type R's are threaded.

try lightly tapping basket with a hammer while on its side, and rotate it?

It probably isn't threaded, but it doesn't hurt to try twisting it. That way you're not breaking anything in case there are threads. If you have to pry up, make sure you get something that will pry near the base so you don't crack the magnets or dent anything.

i used acetone to soften up the glue around the screws..... cant get my motor off either...?!?!?!

even tried with a rubber hammer!

im pretty sure they dont unscrew, but it makes wana go grab it and try!! hahaha

get a heat gun or a hair dryer and heat the hell out of the top of it and it will come right off
