Hmm, usually the remote wire is a blue wire with a white line and the power wire is yellow, what kind of head unit is it?

A Boss Head Unit, my friend had his subs hooked up to it and my other friend had the remote wire hooked up on my car once, i just dont know wtf is going on

Did it happen to get ripped out of the harness when you were working on it? Check in the dash and around to see if it came out. If not, then i have no clue.

Can you find the remote lead inside your car? Maybe it got tucked behind some stuff, and is hiding around in the dash somewhere (along with the harness wire still attached, if indeed it did get ripped out).

I recommend disconnecting the battery before fiddling around in there though.. I had to go fishing for my remote wire once, and a wire zapped the metal sheath that holds the deck in place.. While my arm was inside of it.

SOB, I got everything ready to go, all the wires hidden and the subs in, but I cant find the **** place where this remote wire goes.

Now i'm confused. Where can't you find the remote wire? Can you not find it on the head unit or on the amp? I'm guessing you still mean you don't know where to attach it on the head unit, the wire must've gotten pulled out. Can you put any pics up of the wiring harness or something?

I dont have a digital camera, i have the remote wire on the amp hooked up I just dont know where on the headunit it goes cause i have all the wires hooked up to the hardness but no remote wire is found on the hardness, I dont know how it could of gotten pulled out if it did cause it doesn look like any wire got pulled out.

then obviously it has to be there, usually the wires are labeled on the side, it should be blue with a wite line, or maybe even solid blue. but it has to be there.

I talked to him about this last night.. He said he had a blue wire on the harness that was labeled something about 'antenna'.. I told him that's the one, but I don't think he believed me. He said something about it turning on his actual antenna.

So I'm not sure what else to tell him.. He'll just have to trust that the blue wire everyone is talking about is the blue wire on his harness.

It's not going to say 'Amp Lead' or 'Amp Turnon' on the little plastic/rubber wire label.. It's usually labeled Antenna Somethingoranother I believe.
