that isnt my logic at all my logic is experience as an RF dealer that amp is 1 of the worst they ever made they havent made a good punch series amp since very early 90's nearly 20 yrs ago.
mainstream brands are mainstream because so many people are uninformed and yes i would use a crunch amp over a jl any day of the week. Why should I pay for a name? When I can get the same reliability and as good or better build quality for less?

JL has YEARS AND YEARS of experience, R&D, and has developed technologies that have changed the car audio industry. They back all their products, and they are reliable.

When you buy from small time amp builders you are buying from people who open JL, Rockford and Alpine amps and study them, and them build them with cheaper parts to undercut the corporation's profits with marketing schemes convincing you that the only reason you pay some $.80 per watt with JL is the name.

Its like the people who ***** that NASA spent $20,000 on a toilet seat. You have no consept of why the item cost as much as it does.
