Alright Im considering trading a Cadence Z1200 for the amp mentioned. Would I notice a significant amount of bass loss reducing power almost in half?

Also how decent are these amps? I know the JBL is a good brand and reliable. Just wondering if they do every bit of rated power and clean power at that.

Right now Im running the Z1200 at 1 ohm. Rated for 1200@1, but does close to 1400. I have a D2 sub. I either have to wire to 1 or 4 ohms. The JBL does 700@4 or 1100@2, but isnt 1 ohm stable.

I just bought a blown 1201.1 from craigslist a while back. Guy said it worked when he took it out. They are made in china with small fets, looks like JBL isnt what it used to be even 4 years ago. It was big though .

my 1200.1 II worked great til i ran it at 1 ohm lolz i have a 75.4 II that is older and works flawlessly they do rated and then some by a bit i think i was getting close to 1350 from mine at 14 volts 2 ohms
