Remember these?

yeah you are right actually the motorola 243 is better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

now you have made it look even worse lolz
It's not about being better or worse, its about being the right component, you are speaking of these parts as if they should be in the 15K. They are more than adequate for this amp's ratings. Why the hell would a 243 be in a 4 channel class A or B amp?

It sounds like you have knowledge of the parts, just no idea of how to apply it.

The 9540 is p-channel, Is rated at 175c. Vdss -100v, Rds(on)=0.117ohm, Id=-23A

The 243 is N-channel, only has ratings of 100c. Vdss 150v, Rds(on)=0.22ohm, Id=16A @ 100c.

The 243 is not as suitable for a class a/b amp as it is a D. The 9540 is actually a very good component

deck power is pretty dirty stock decks with stock speakers are usually matched pretty well so it really depends on specifics.
I think it will do ok,

It has the tweets of the front comps wired to the front internal channels, The coaxials in the back wired to the back channel.

Then it has the 4ch factory amp w/ front woofers of the comps wired to the front channels of the amp, and the sub on the back channels.

HU power is ok for stock speakers, as they are generally more efficient than good aftermarket ones. Likewise, they normally can't handle as much power as most aftermarket speakers.

Well I know that, I just wish I knew what my HU put out RMS. But, it puts out 200 peak, and So does my new HU, so it should be close enough.

use a dmm i have an rms chart if ya need it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
I mean I know Ohm's law. lol but I'm too lazy to go buy a 9 volt for my DMM, eh i'll buy some on EBAY

I kinda like the look of the ones that aren't see through. The 1201.1 and 14001 are pretty similar though IIRC, i thinK the 14001 has about 200 more watts
yea pretty nice amps the 75.4 is sweet
