remember that "iraqi kids running for water" video?

wtf are you talking about none of them soldiers look to be old enough to have enlisted during the wtc incident. So guess what that means they knew war was very possible.
i was giving an example where motivation to go to war out weighed staying home.

i must have missed the part where the guy kicked the kid in the face. i thought he just held out a bottle of water without throwing it.
Maybe he was worried that it might hurt the poor kid if he tossed it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
but several of the people in this and the other thread have made comment that they are just releasing stress when they terrorize and or humiliate the kids and they should be forgiven regardless of their actions. I bet these are the same guys that during vietnam would of said dont rat out your buddy for raping the women in the villages, they are just releasing stress. If you are badass enough to be a soldier then also be badass enough to live up to the standard of the US military codes of conduct.

agreed.

sensitivity training, yeah thats all we really need to win the war in Iraq.

If only our troops were in touch with their feelings, they wouldn't commit such horrendous war crimes!

that is ignorant. how can you compare a kid running for a bottle of water to ****?

you guys are making a pretty big jump; there is a pretty big gap between the water bottle incident and ****/murder.

I'm not saying that we shouldn't hold people accountable for their actions over there, only that we should at least try to keep things in perspective. They don't deserve a dishonorable discharge over the deal.

yes. he was.

still, they both are wrong. raping a woman is just as morally wrong as picking on a defenseless child.

in that case then why not go after every off duty solder who gets drunk and makes an *** of himself anywhere in the world?
MPs do that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif stockade is full of drunk and disorderlies according to a friend who is an MP.
