ok, im hooking up a relay for amp rack fans, and im using this diagram from bcae..

my question is, it looks like terminal 87 and 30 are bridged together.. is this correct? what is the reason for this? thanks for any help

i will be using it to turn on the fans when the remote turn on turns on the amps, so i will run the amps from this relay as well, as the diagram shows. so i take it the pins that you connect are reversable and it doenst make a difference? ie. 12+ can be 87 and 30 to amps or 12+ to 30 and 87 to amps?

yea 30 and 87 would matter which feeds the 12. in some cases neither does the 85 or 86 but some relays have diodes which would require 85 to be ground. so i just keep it like that.
