But i've seen where people say they are overrated...so i guess my next question is how much overrated are they?

And I have seen many people say they are underrated, so which will you believe? I would go with, they do rated power, maybe a little less, amybe a little more, but not enough to make a noticable difference.

OK...i just cant get you to say yes to anything....so here's a new idea...

What about 1 type-r 12, and 1 viper 600.1?(I'm sure the type-r can take 600 everyday...right?)

And I have no experience with the Type R's, but from what I have read, they can take some excess power.

You're definately going to need more power on a pair of Type R's. It's always better to have more power available then kill the amp trying to force it to deliver the goods.

Something that delivers 1000 - 1500 watts would be ideal.
