Now im confused.....so is it or isn't it a good idea to run the 1200.1@1ohm everyday?

Yes

I mistook it for the 2500.1 the 2500.1 is not stable @ 1ohm. But the 1200.1 is.

If I were to buy a 2500.1 and run it at 1 ohm with the gain down quite a bit, would I be allright? Or should I just run it at 4 ohms?

The internal parts were not designed to be driven that low. It's always a toss up if it will last or not. I'm sure it will be fine but there is no telling for sure.

Think twice before getting the refurb Viper.

I sent my refurb back to the shop today. It kept blowing fuses.

And i keep reading that directed amps are underrated....will the directed 750D or the viper 600.1 be enough to push to 12"type-r's @1ohm?

Both are rated 600x1@1ohm...

But i've seen where people say they are overrated...so i guess my next question is how much overrated are they?
