Recommended electrical for ~4.5k?

but thats at 2000 + rpm .true test is at idle ,how long can you go ?

My bypass cuts the alt off under 700 rpm. It will sit above 12.6 for a few minutes of bass mekanik stuff. If its cold and stays on it don't drop. Heck DD is telling me ill be able to power that m4a with what I have.

not bad at all.i'll be dong over 500 amps of alt juice in my truck soon .with 7 pc 2150 batts have 5 batts already waiting to go in

I didnt know that? I'm just planning right now, no money to buy anything at the moment. I will contact you when I get more money though.

How good are those caps going to be with no power to pull? Just another load adding resistance.

I can't fit duals **** it. If so I'd drop the account on goodies. I guess it's a good thing.

that sux , i already have 2 200 amp alts ,but gonna send one to mike and have it built to 350 amps ,then going to have my local alt guy make the bracket and install both alts with the external reg .should see 550 amps at 2000 rpm and 285 at idle

Must be nice. I had a great offer on 2 m4as with 2 DDz 12s. I don't have room under the hood or in the back to do it. I own to much to sell the car. It's a blessing

That's fine and they do work great but they have to have power passing to store it. Same as a battery.

I think I'm loud enough. If I get to much more ill need to redo the front stage. I love it so its not getting touched.

Maybe you're talking about the added load from a discharged cap? It's actually pretty much non existent unlike in standard caps. The resistance of an ultracap is nearly zero, so there's no extra load.

Also music is dynamic, you're not going to see much of a drop unless you're playing tones for more than a burp.

I was also skeptical at first. But after some pretty extensive research, they have really impressed me. Think of it like this: the average amperage draw of music is not going to be much more than a stock alt can handle. It's just the spikes that cause voltage drop. Ultracaps smooth out these spikes. Even if it's just a little too much for your stock alt, add a small HO alt and you're taken care of.

my front stage is set ,i have a cdt 3 way component set that will take 300 rms per side and a vfl 350.4 bridged on them
