No lie, met a kid recently that moved here from Jamaica, they're huge there but not here in the states. I read up some.

If you can, buy a Evo 3, they're light and shit stupid powerful. You will enjoy and make people crap themselves left and right.

I would go for an STI, or EVO AWD is definitely a big bonus. Only thing I didn't like about my friends STI I drove, there is NO bottom end, with out the turbo or without ringing the thing out there was just no go. Felt like it was lazy until the turbo would kick in, it was pretty dang fast then but for a DD I think I would be ticked off at the thing. Also gotta say though the STI with the boxer engine sounds much better than just about any of the other import cars, in my humble opinion of course.

I know your probably looking for a turbo car, and I am much more a fan of turbo vs supercharger. But what about boost on a belt, maybe a 03/04 Mustang Cobra. You could also make it a turbo car down the road and have about 700+ at the wheels EASY. With tuning and the basics (exhaust, intake and pulley) you could be running around 550 or so at the wheels.

srt4 hands down. they're cheap to start with. easy/cheap to mod. and fast as hell. with the right parts you'll have one of the quickest/fastest cars on the road.
what's your buddy have done to his srt4? has he been to the dragstrip?

i might be biased, i have a srt4. if you or your buddy need info on this car let me know. i have one of the quickest/fastest in the country

the kid that works for me has an srt4, i bought him a act clutch and lightened flywheel for his xmas bonus, the car is zippy but by nno menas best bang for the buck, the ***** is garbage, thats why the nitro repalced it with a beefier six speed.dont get me wron its a fun car but torque steer FTL

last gen supras with a singlwe turbo upgrade cant be beat, you can find some decent ones very reasonably priced.

pretty quick for a 4dr sedan, and spacious enough for me! I am 6'4.5" and can sit in the rear seat with the front seat all the way back.

the 5sp is not so much fun though....tough to shift into second and 3rd gears. maybe the previous owner was rough on it

I think the OP's idea was cheaper turbo power that puts rx7's, supras,3kgt's and my Fave 03/04 cobra out of the box. I would still do a 240sx..skip the sr20 swap...guys are making big power with building the 2.4's thats in them.

pimp juice, or the paxton novi2000 kit, older s2000's are well under 20
