Havent done it yet, I will probably get a fab shop to make me one. I am sure I will have to do get rid of acstetsom 7k or 12k? not sure how much they run, i'd guess the 12k to be around 1500. soundigital is pretty comparable.
just curious, do you have any info on your dual alternator setup? did you pull the a/c to do it? any pics?
The are dual 4what coils do the subs have? dvc2? or 4? if they are dvc 4 the gp3000 will do around 7kw on 16 volts 5000ish on 14-15 or you can do 2 of them @ 1 ohm for about 1100 shippedthe Stesom would be a good choice tho.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding you.what coils do the subs have? dvc2? or 4? if they are dvc 4 the gp3000 will do around 7kw on 16 volts 5000ish on 14-15 or you can do 2 of them @ 1 ohm for about 1100 shippedthe Stesom would be a good choice tho.
they are decent for the price but i have a a very hard time believing those numbersthe gp3000 will do just over 7kw on 18 volts and just under on 16 (6500 or so) 4k or so on mid 14's and 4800+ on 15-15.5. termpro members have benched it a dozen times at least all with the same results. for the price i sell em for they are a no brainer for good power. they are almost the same as a XXV Goliath amp inside.
You really ought to run some of those amplifiers and test them before you say thati have never clamped 1 thats why i said where i got the info from. i have seen them in action tho and I know at 14 volts they will do 4kw or very close to it.
the info I was given was that they did 2970 rms at 1 ohm on 11.7 volts iirc and just under 7kw at 16.xxx volts it is on the termpro forum with several references to many other benchings. i have seen the insides of both and have it on very good authority that it actually is a goliath with very slight changes. the goliath is rated at 5kw on 12+ volts so.... 3200 rms is an extreme understatement IMO i was told they do at least 3800+ on 14.6 volts. You really ought to run some of those amplifiers and test them before you say that
At 14.4v that amplifier will do around 3200 RMS, that's assuming the amplifier is seeing 1ohm or less nominal
Your 16v and 18v are not realistic for that amplifier. They are STRONG AMPS, ESPECIALLY for the money. I've honestly not tested them, so ignore my input if you like. I have, however, seen them in action as well as talked to experienced competitors who run them and who have compared them to past product. For the money they're hard to beat, and yes they are VERY similar to the Goliath's...almost the same we'll say?
