rear panel removal

I went to install some new pioneer 6x9's in my 2002 cavalier, but i can't get the rear panel off. When i put the rear seats down, it looks like 2 tabs are holding the panel down, but they don't want to pop out, what do i do?

Man, the stock speakers in my wife's 2001 Cavileer sound GOOD!!! Why are you changing???

did you replace the front speakers yet? they are the most important speakers in the sound system. forget about the rears!!!

I bought these speakers a while ago for my old car, and now i want to put them in my new car, i just can't figure out how to get the circular tabs off the rear deck

but like i said... if you did not replace the front speaks yet... you want to do that first or at the same time at least.

umm i have a 97 sunfire and a cavalier is virtually the same... the back plastic screws should just pull out

use a screw driver of a pair of pliers and give them a little pull the should pop out
