really weird noise's

well it never seems to end... so i was playing my stereo for my friend and all of a sudden i hear this weird noise like a alien landing lol. it sounds like a high pitched squeak. and it doesnt happen every time. it even stays on when i turn the radio off. when i turn off the car and turn it back on it goes away and its fine. i dont know what it could be. my set up is a Hifonics Goliath and 2 RE mt's with 2 hc2400s and 0 gauge all around. please help! thanks again- doug

these problems very often come up with use of Pioneer decks - but don't worry, they can be fixed

first make sure you're using shielded rca cables

MOST IMPORTANTLY - ground your headunit properly

fyi - pioneers are notorious for having this problem and this has been brought up countless times on the forum, try searching next time!

i did that but its done on the rca cables. it doesnt sound like ground noise at all. thats the weird thing

are your amp(s) grounded properly?

yea grounded to the batterys in the back and then 2 runs of 0 gauge to the battery up front
