RE VS FI which should i get?

What are you gonna run for batts? The V4000xd is a current hog...if you get too large of voltage drops you will just blow the FETs again.

You have to give Fi a couple days sometimes to reply to emails. They get a ton of them and it takes time to reply to them all. They're still a small company with a few guys doing it all. And if you can use the RE motor and the Q soft parts you might be able to have someone else rebuild it for you, which ever ends up being cheaper.

i just have a duralast yellow top battery up front and stock alt i was ganna run it off will that just mess the amp up again? if i upgrade my alt and get like a 25 fared cap will that be good for the amp?

dont get a cap and buy a batt. PM bumping buick, as he has som stingers for retty cheap. how many amps is ur alt? I would NOT run this amp on 1 batt with stock alt. Snoopdan would prolly be ur best bet on recomendations for running this amp as it is the same board as the ma HK4000d.

i think its like 120amp im not sure its not really the GM stock its a replacement ust a little bigger than the GM original i had my homies lightning audio S4.1000.1D amp and the lights dint dim or nothing and he had it in his crown vik and the lights **** there went uut the same with my brothers old 76 caprice classic the lights dimed alot on both of them but the most i got was my dome light twitched barly even enough to notice it

yea but remember the diff between underrated 1000w and 3500w....Like i said drop the cap and buy a batt or two and you will be fine.

try it and watch your Voltage if it drops too much time to add another but one should be ok as long asyour not running it at 1 ohm or something stupid.

im probly not gonna even be running it at 2ohm for awhile probly at 4ohm with gains turnd down
