Which would you prefer and why? I should be working with around 1500 watts at 1ohm. I have up to 8 cuft or so to work with.

I can tell you off the top, that Q would be a lot happier with the BP Power option with 1500w going to it daily.

Its suppose to increase the thermal handling of the sub, but dont quote me on that lol. In reality, a Q will handle about 1200w fine with no options, but the BP Power option increases RMS 200 to 500 more, giving you more headroom if you go with that much power.

Both subs you mention are great, just different animals. The Q is a SQ sub that has the abiliy to get loud, the SX is more SPL but can also sound good on SQ. Its all about the install.

the Q can handle 1500w with proper tuning on the gains and easy on the volume. But with the BP option its still cheaper compared to the SX.

Wanna get louder than the SX get the BL.

yea i had gave my sx 15 a little over 1000 and it would get stinky id def agree with whats been stated
