what will get me louder?

Well im looking to either get 3 DD9512s, 2 DD9515s, or 1 DD9518 all with either F motors. possibly a 9917 as well. If properly powered what will get me higher numbers? this is going in a winstar with 3 yellowtops and an undecided HO alt. i just want something for local events. nothing too insane.

im thinking the 3 12 since theres more motors which will allow me to put out more power? discuss...

Edit: One more thing for future reference, cone AREA refers to the AREA of the cone, the circle, in other words Pie*Radius squared

Also remember that to be accurate you can't just use 12" or 15" diameter to get cone area. If you can find the t/s parameters of a speaker, then use the Sd figure to compare cone area. It is most often in square centimeters. Some subs have huge surrounds that take away from cone area, and you have to take that into account.

I was going to say this as well, although it doesn't really change the answer to what was stated above (so I didn't both saying it).

Honestly, I would get the two 15's but make sure you incorporate a couple 20 farad caps so you get all the potential out of the woofers (plus an extra 3db's).
