I was thinking of getting new subs and i really wanna go with some Resonant Engineering subs.....here is the deal...i need (3) 12's....ported box...facing up in my SUV...port firing twd back....my amp does 500x1 @ 4 ohm and 850x1 @ 2 0hm...its 2 ohm stable....its 1700w max @ 2 ohm and 1000w max @ 4 ohm....I believe the SE series 2006 will be my best bet...they are dual 4 ohm subs...3 of them will wire to a 2.67 ohm load....so that will give me about 800w rms to all 3 subs...and still 1700w peak...now the subs are 600w rms each and 1200w peak..thats 1800w rms needed for all 3 subs...I would have to have my volume on full for the subs to get rms power....but my subs now see below rms now and i have no problem...now i have (3) 300w rms subs..thats 900w rms and they are wired to 4 ohm load...giving them 500w rms to the 3 of them...thats 400w less than rms...but the RE's..almost 1200w below rms...but i will be giving each sub about 300w rms....i dont wanna get the low end line...but they are only 175w rms...i will be over powering them...RE series is the nest step up..and they are 600w rms...wish they had a 300w rms sub or something...tell me what you think i should do...i wanna stick with RE...and the RE series how much they run from a dealer??..thanks for the help.

is the SR series like 300w rms??...cause i was told by factory that my amp will do 800w x1 rms @ 2.67 ohms....about 270w rms to each sub roughly...so a nice SR series if they are 300w rms each will be nice...cause i know the SE series is 600w rms and thats too much for my amp and they are $280 each...so i am tryin to guess what the price of the SR series is and how many watts rms they are..humm...as for a new amp..bigger one...that means i would need all new power and ground wires and new battery possibly and upgrade my alt...i just wanna keep it at 1100w rms total including my 4 channel...thanks

Mattrx dude did a small review of them in the review section. He got the SRs from me as a loaner until he got a recone on his old XXX18. He was running them off of a Orion 2500d @1ohm for a while no problems. He had them thrown in a temp prefab and hit a 147.XX on the new term IIRC. They work good with a solid 300watts, but they will definantly take more.

thats good news to hear...so they are 300w rms then?? the SR series that is...how much do the SR 12's run?? at a dealer..about 200 to 220??.....just need the price and rms on RE SR series 12...thanks

We sell our SR12s for 150. And yes the RMS is 300.

$150...thats so cool...man but i need 3 of them...humm 450 plus tax...about 480 total....is it true with 3 of them with about 270 to 300w rms to each i will be hittin high 140's??

Mattrxdude was doin that with 2 SR15s in a prefab vented box with a Orion2500d on them @ 1ohm. I dunno about 3 12s with 300 each.

yes i am sure the 2 15's would be louder than 3 12's...15's produce hard hitting bass...but in your opinion are the SR12's a nice sub..i mean for 150/each thats not too bad.....no down sides i can see...more dbs...run my amp at lower ohm=more power...nice setup.....cause i hate running at 4 ohm....i wanna run at 2 ohm to get the most outta my amp...but 3 subs makes it hard...so 2.67 ohm aint too bad..plus i hear from kenwood that running my amp at 2 ohm might make it go into protection mode...but 2.67 ohm might be safer...they aid to adjust the...lemme think what the wrote me..humm...something with gains or something..oh well
