im wanting to put a system in my 62 chevy and was lookin at the re subs. what is the differ between the sx,mt,and the mx in sound wise.i might have to build a wall.the amp or amps that i will use will be the massive audio 3000.1 and it goes to 2 ohms if that matters. thanks ,lamont

I have a SX right now and it's really **** loud. it COULD handle 1500 RMS each but that's your decision. 2 15" MX's would be ridiculous loud. and they have great SQ. If you got MT's you'd only need one if you're using that 3000 watt RMS amp

my old MT 12s got stupid loud off a 2000d. i love them, and i loved the attention they attracted. i sold them because i got the right price and even made a profit, right before everyone stopped buyin RE stuff a while back.

why dont the mt have any specs on them,do you just have to play with the box size and port to get them to sound good and i will post a picture where they will go too if that helps

it varies how much power you can give them depending on the size of the box/wall

so what you are saying, 2 mt wont be good on that 3000.1 or should i just get 2 1500+rms amp one amp for each sub?

well the amp you said you were going to use I believe is a 3000 rms amp. you CAN run the MT's with 1500 RMS and they'll still be loud. I'm only saying you can run more power to them if you want

one of my teammates is selling 4 of his RE MT 18's for $350 each

one of those on 3kwrms in a 6-8ft^3 would do nicely
