With your amp, I would strongly consider just running one RE SE. Also what how many ohms is that 1200 rated at? If it's at 2ohm's than get the dual 4, if it's 4ohm's then get the dual 2.

here is some needed info for the sony amp

2-channel car amplifier

200 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms (250 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms)

500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (4-ohm stable in bridged mode)

low-pass crossover (50-300 Hz, 12 dB/octave)

so youll want a dual 2 Ohm SE for that sony amp. get a box made too.. dont buy a pre-fabricated box.

Hard to go by the sens. spec unless you know at what freq. it was rated.

Hands down the re subs are your best pick out of the two subs you mentioned. I personally think your amp is azz and it wouldn't do a pair of RE subs justice. I would suggest getting only on RE sub maybe a 15 and build one hell of a efficent in closure. I'm not sure what your budget is but investing in a nice 1000 watt amp and a single or pair of quality subs would put you in the game nicely. If buying a new amp and subs are not an option right now try a JBL GTO 15 in a ported enclosure. You can probably pick one up for $100 or less. I like these subs cause the work decently with little power

Seriously, you need to upgrade the amp or look for another sub. If not an option, a single 12" with a nice ported enclosure should work.
