Interesting the sealed bx RE recommended to them was over 2.8ft^3....almost 3 times their recommended specs...they really went "safe" with the regular specs. So that means a good ported box would have to be MUCH bigger then 2.2ft. right now my box is about 3.3ft^3 tuned to 28hz, and god daamn it sounds good with 2800w:crazy:

I'm happy it was given a bigreview like that instead of just forum people reviewing. The ghey thing is they only tested it sealed, with 2000w. That's gay, I KNOW that it didn't eve go 2/3 of its xmax. Using 2800w and a ported box I've only gotten it to 3/4 xmax on really low notes. They needed a ported box, that's what the XXX is designed for IMO.

It said measured at 2.83volts at 1 meter. They're owned by US Amps now.

The new XXX's are totally hot. The old ones were pretty good but now they're just in another league altogether. If RE was bigger, JL would be $hitting themselves right now.

JL looked horrible at CES too. idk whats up with them.
