i would go with the mag, never heard a q so i can't compare. but the mag is an awesome woofer

I'd wait to see how the SQ turns out on thoes.

From what I understand the BL is a 'bigger boom' step from the Q...not a better SQ Q.

avalanches and idmax's are among my favorite "sql" subs. I just got another pair of idmax's and they sound better to me than my avas did. I need to get going on the ported box though so I can see how they match up in output. BTW Im running mine off around 1500 watts
