Well, i'm looking for an upgrade, i have two kappa perfects now, but i jsut bought a massive audio 1500 watt RMS amp, and i'm looking for a new sub to go along with it

Is the mojo a relaly good subwoofer?

How will it compare to my two kappa perfects, i think it is on a completely different level, but idk..

also, what box would i put the 12 inch in?

the mojo is a SPL sub ..

the box would be 4cu.ft@40hz

I have a build I am bout to do for my 15'' mojo thats on its way, and I am going to put it in about 3 cubes @ 34hz. They get really loud man, so if thats what you are looking for than I would say get it.

I'm actually working with a customer here in Tampa to do 4 15" Mofo's in the back of his expedition, 3.5ft^3 per driver at 35hz. They're more SPL than SQ so dont tune low...34 minimum...

and the MoJo's like rather large boxes for a daily application. The 12's are at home in 4 cubes believe it or not...15s like in the 5.5 or so range.

1500 rms @ 1 ohm (its the massive audio 1500.1)

what other subs compare to the mojo, ive heard that FI Q's are nice..what else?

you can stick some more juice on the mojo. but itll still wang with 1500.....get as big a box as you can fit for daily. bigger boxes typically are a lil more fficent. the mojos get loud as piss

For 1500 watts...

The Q would be nice...

DD 3500s would be good, but you would be on the top end of their power handleing

im doing the same as above, and the friends ive had who have had a mojo do well in smaller ported boxes, mines goign to be about 3.5cubes @ 35

For the MoJo this holds true, because it just likes a huge friggen box. Any of the other subs would be fine, in 2.5 or 2 cubes ported in the low 30s, bigger isnt always better, and with 1500watts its not like he doesnt have a good bit of power.

Remember there are only a few of us that run 4kw+ daily.
