re audio vs kicker

i am looking to purchase 2 12's and i was looking at re audio and kicker i like fi audio but its out of my price range, so i was wondering what will be louder and make someone say holy s**t thats loud lol, something where you can hear me from a distance
and the price difference is a little over 100 dollars is re audio worth it

2 12's will have more cone area. that dont necessarily mean louder, but itll help.

im selling for 250+ship now obo. i just got a new car and theres no way im fitting a big ported box for these L7s into the trunk. so i picked up some Fi Q's and im gonna seal em.

well one 15" btl or one 15" thats a good sub around 2000rms something thats under 500 dollars put it that way and i plan on giving it the max rms

also fatryan good luck with your sale but i am not intersted when on ebay bnib the 06 model i can get them for 300 shipped

well price is somewhat negotiable, but 2kw to these is pushing it anyways.

btl will take more than 2000wrms if you get the options. 3-4 kw

the problem with the L7 is that all the boxes that kicker recomends for them are spl boxes and so thats all most people have heard them in. i have heard one in a custom sq box and to say night and day difference is a understatement, it sounded as good as any sub i have ever heard and better than most. and no i don't own one but i would.

well i had mine in 5 cubes @ 38Hz and also has an older pair in like 2-3 cubes sealed. i dont think they sounded bad in either. but theyre much louder in a bigger box.

so whats the most rms i could run off a stock electrical system

and if i get 2 12's l7s i plan on pushing them with a kicker 1500.1 and having a ported box tuned to 33hz with each sub getting 2.6net vol

how would that sound

that would sound great. thats very close to my setup ~5 cubes @38 running off an m2d2 (1500w cont.)130a alt will still be really pushing it with 1500w though. i had a 260a alt in my old blazer when i last used this system. granted i had an extra 600w going to 2 pairs of comps. but 1500w on a 130a alt that gives power to the car electrionics ALSO. you can try upgrading the big 3 to 0awg and see how much it helps.
