Home depot's panel saws always seem to be out of calibration. The stupid little tape measure at the bottom that is used to locate the cut point always seems to be out of position by 1/4" or more. My brother works for them, says the several panel saws of theirs he has used in multiple locations all were the same, and its a very common story on these message boards.

yeah you have to make them use a regular tape measure, otherwise your cuts will come up short
